FAQ

Shipping

Free Worldwide Shipping.

I am able to ship your new artwork all over the world from here in the UK.

International Shipping for the rest of the world is available. All items are shipped using Royal Mail International, via standard shipping (which can take up to 5 weeks to arrive) or Tracked & Signed delivery (a more reliable process between 5 -7 working days).

Please note I am not responsible for any custom or duty charges.

Covid-19 Update: I am still accepting orders for prints and custom pieces (both digital only and printed artworks). Postage of printed pieces will only be done once per week and I am still able to post internationally through Royal Mail. Thus postage may be a little slower than usual depending on your shipping address. In order to minimise the strain on the postal service at this time, please let me know if your order for printed work is not urgently required and I will hold off postage until everything has calmed down. The digital version will still be delivered within 14 days of ordering (and receipt of the required sample photographs), which is the same as the pre lock down conditions.

Returns Policy

Unfortunately I'm not able to offer refunds.

All of my pieces are packaged to a very high standard in order to make sure they arrive safely at their new home. In the very unlikely event that they are damaged during delivery could you please contact me immediately via email: thisispennymade@gmail.com with images of the damage.

Photograph Sample Guidelines for Pet Portraits

In order to create a highly detailed portrait and truly capture the personality of the subject, I require high resolution photographs to work from. Photos which have been take on most cameras, DLR or modern phones are usually perfectly fine. Please email over the largest file size you have available to thisispennymade@gmail.com

                  • It is important for these photographs to be taken in good, natural light, clearly showing details of the face, distinguishing features and unique colouring. For example images taken by a window or outside, are usually best.
                  • Images should not be cropped and need to show the whole shape of the subject.
                  • I require photos which are not out of focus or blurry.
                  • Photos need to be taken at the subjects eye level. Ones taken from directly above will not be suitable.
                  • Photos taken from too far away, or ones where the face of the subject is obscured by various objects will not be acceptable either.
                  • If more than one subject is being featured, I will need at least one image featuring both subjects in order to correctly illustrate their comparative size.

Bear in mind these will be the only way I can get to know your furr baby and I can't draw what I can't see, so the more true to life the photographs are, the better your illustration will be. Please feel free to send over multiple photos if you are unsure. The more I have to choose from the better really!
